Vashtie is an Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Vashtie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master's of Science in Nursing at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
Prior to joining the Medicor team in 2014, her clinical background includes more than 10 years as an certified ER nurse and also worked in specialized respiratory and telemetry units.
She collaborates closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive cardiac care to patients to optimize patient outcomes through individualized treatment plans, patient education, and preventive strategies.
Vashtie's philosophy is to treat patient with compassion and respect and to empower them with knowledge to make informed, healthy decisions for life.
Vashtie lives in Somerset with her family and enjoys traveling, reading, dancing and biking.
