Joe K. Ahn, MD, FACC

Joe K. Ahn, MD, FACC, joined Medicor Cardiology in the summer of 2008 following his internship and residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City and his fellowship at North Shore-LIJ Health System in New York.  He received his undergraduate degree from Duke University with a double major in Biology and Psychology. It was as a medical student at Sackler School of Medicine / TAU, where he developed his interest in cardiology.

Dr. Ahn is board certified in General Adult Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, and Echocardiography. He is currently serving as Chief of Cardiology at RWJ Somerset and has a special interest in Trans-Esophageal Echography (TEE). He is married with three children and when he is able to find time he enjoys skiing and playing golf.
