Dr. Archana M. Patel, MD, FHRS joined Medicor Cardiology in 2017. Prior to that, she was on faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School for nearly two decades, achieving a rank of Assistant Professor of Medicine and was involved in academic training of medical students, residents and Cardiology fellows.
Dr. Patel specializes in Cardiac Electrophysiology including ablation of atrial fibrillation and other complex cardiac rhythm disorders, pacemakers and implantable defibrillators. She is board certified in both Cardiac Electrophysiology and Cardiology.
After completing medical school at the University of Mumbai, India, she completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology Fellowship at Jersey City Medical Center, Electrophysiology Fellowship at Deborah Heart and Lung Center and an additional Interventional Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.
She has been recognized as NJ Top Doctors for several years in Cardiac Electrophysiology and is a member of the medical staff at Robert Wood Barnabas Health Hospital at Somerset and New Brunswick and Morristown Medical Center.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
